She is the New York Times bestselling author of Reality is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World, SuperBetter: The Power of Living Gamefully, and most recently, Imaginable: How to See the Future Coming and Feel Ready for Anything, Even Things That Seem Impossible Today. She is the Director of Game Research + Development at the Institute for the Future in Palo Alto, California, where she also teaches business leaders from around the world "How to Think Like a Futurist" in the continuing studies program at Stanford University.
