Jane McGonigal, PhD, specializes in games that predict and simulate the future. She is the New York Times bestselling author of Reality is Broken: Why Games Make Us Better and How They Can Change the World, SuperBetter: The Power of Living Gamefully, and most recently, Imaginable: How to See the Future Coming and Feel Ready for Anything, Even Things That Seem Impossible Today. Her work has been covered in the Economist, Harvard Business Review, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, NPR and more. She is the Director of Game Research + Development at the Institute for the Future in Palo Alto, California, where she also teaches business leaders from around the world "How to Think Like a Futurist" in the continuing studies program at Stanford University.
