Terms & Conditions

Thank you for registering for this mWISE™ Conference (“Conference”). Regardless of whether your registration is submitted by you or your proxy, the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to you. By participating in this conference, you agree to these Terms so please read them carefully. For information about how we collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process information about you, please see Google’s Privacy Policy.

This conference is organized by Mandiant, now part of Google Cloud, which reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to limit or deny access to any entity or individual.

Registration Terms

All information entered into the registration form must be correct and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Attendance at this conference is not allowed by the following:

  • Residents of embargoed countries,
  • individuals ordinarily resident in embargoed countries, or
  • individual otherwise prohibited by applicable export controls and sanctions programs,
  • individuals under 18 years of age.

Attendees can request to cancel their registration or delete their registration profile from Mandiant's event database by emailing mWISE.Conference@regsvc.com.


Substitution and Badge Policy

Substitution of registrations may be made at any time up to the Conference start date. Substitutions are allowed with the written permission of the original registrant. Written requests for substitutions will only be considered by email to mWISE.Conference@regsvc.com.

Please note:

  • Individual substitutions are only allowed with the written permission of the original registrant.
  • The substituted individual must also be from the same organization as the canceled registrant.
  • A maximum of one (1) substitution per original registrant is allowed.
  • There will be a $25 processing fee for any substitution.

“No Shows” will be deemed a cancellation per the cancellation cutoff date in the Attendee Cancellation Policy.

Sharing of Attendee badges/credentials is not permitted at any time. Badges/credentials are issued to, can be picked up by, and used by only the Attendee named in the registration. Photo ID will be required for each Attendee when collecting a badge onsite. Badges must be worn at all times during the Conference.


Session Availability

Your Conference registration provides access to certain sessions based on your Attendee profile and registration type. Session admission is also subject to venue capacity. Building an agenda through our event site does not guarantee access to any sessions. Seats are available on a first-come first-served basis. All Conference attendees will have access to the online on-demand content which will include most breakout sessions and most Keynote sessions.


Attendee Cancellation Policy

If circumstances change and you can no longer attend this Conference, you may transfer or cancel your registration via the website pursuant to cancellation policies on the website. Our Attendee cancellation policy is outlined below.

Cancellations received after the cancellation cut-off date (August 14, 2023) or non-attendance will not be refunded and/or tickets will not be re-activated. For cancellations received after the cut-off date with a balance due, the registration amount remains due in full.

Prior to the conference we offer:

  • Up to July 3, 2023: 100% refund
  • July 4 – August 13, 2023: 50% refund
  • August 14, 2023 and after: No refunds

All cancellations or substitution requests must be received in writing by the original registrant at mWISE.Conference@regsvc.com. Refunds can take up to 4 weeks to process.

Please remember that canceling your registration does not automatically cancel your hotel arrangements. Attendees are responsible for canceling their own hotel and other travel reservations.


Government or Academia Rate Eligibility

The government rate for a full conference pass is open to employees of a national/federal, state, provincial, or local government entity, including public higher education institutions. The Academic rate full conference pass is open to current students enrolled in an academic institution and professors, lecturers and instructors working in academic institutions. It is the responsibility of the individual to show proper government or education ID at time of registration.

Full-time students and university instructors, lecturers and professors can register for these complimentary conference passes with their college or university email address:

  • Expo+ pass for full, in-person access to the expo floor area
  • Digital pass for access to our online program for streamed sessions during the Conference and recorded sessions after the Conference.

For the Expo Only pass, students and faculty must show university credentials when they pick up their conference badge.


Payment Terms

Currency Exchange Rate Disclaimer: Client/Cardholder confirms acknowledgment and acceptance of a potential gain/loss incurred by any adjustments made by their bank due to the currency exchange rate. Conference will not be liable or responsible for any loss incurred by the Client/Cardholder from an adjustment made due to the currency exchange rate. Nor will Conference pursue the Client/Cardholder for collection if that adjustment should be made in the Client’s/Cardholder’s favor.

Submission of a registration online constitutes an official registration and intent to attend the Conference. Full payment must be received to gain entry to the Conference. Please note the Conference does not accept cash payments onsite at the Conference, unless required by law.



 All registered attendees agree to allow Conference organizers and those working on its behalf, to contact them regarding their registration and the event, and to provide relevant information to help them with their participation in the event. You can unsubscribe at a later time by clicking the unsubscribe link on mWISE emails or contacting us at mWISE.Conference@regsvc.com.


Photography/Videography Policy

Conference organizers will document mWISE 2023. Images, audio and/or video recorded by the Conference, or others on behalf of mWISE, or during the event: may include your image, likeness or name. By registering to attend, you agree that the Conference may use such recorded content for any purpose without compensation to you.


Exhibitor Use of Badge Scanning

mWISE allows Exhibitors to do their own badge scanning at the Conference. mWISE is not responsible for Exhibitor scanning. When an Exhibitor scans your badge at their booth or function, you are consenting to allow that Exhibitor to use your contact information to communicate with you about their services and special offers in accordance with each Exhibitor’s Privacy Policy.



Pre-Conference Training Terms & Conditions

If a Customer cancels attendance at a mWISE Conference Pre-Conference Training class offered by Mandiant Academy (“MA”), the Customer must notify MA no later than two (2) weeks before the date of the Training class. If the Customer timely notifies MA of the cancellation, MA will issue Customer a credit for the amount paid for that public Training class, which Customer may apply toward another public Training class of the same duration held within one (1) year of the date of the Order on which the canceled Training class was included. Customer may substitute a named attendee at a public Training class, but Customer will notify MA in advance of any such substitution. MA reserves the right to refuse admittance to public Training classes to any person, for any reason, and if MA refuses admittance, Mandiant will refund the amount paid for that person’s attendance at the public Training class. MA does not refund or credit Fees paid for attendees who do not attend Training or who leave before Training concludes. MA reserves the right to cancel public Training classes for any reason. Event Conduct

Conference organizers are dedicated to providing a harassment-free and inclusive event experience for everyone regardless of gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disabilities, neurodiversity, physical appearance, body size, ethnicity, nationality, race, age, religion, or other protected categories. We do not tolerate harassment of event participants in any form. Conference organizers take violations of our policy seriously and will respond appropriately.

All participants of mWISE events — including digital events — must abide by the following policy:

  • Be excellent to each other.
  • Treat everyone with respect. Participate while acknowledging that everyone deserves to be here — and each of us has the right to enjoy our experience without fear of harassment, discrimination, or condescension, whether blatant or via micro-aggressions. Jokes shouldn’t demean others. Consider what you are saying and how it would feel if it were said to or about you.
  • Speak up if you see or hear something. Harassment is not tolerated, and you are empowered to politely engage when you or others are disrespected. The person making you feel uncomfortable may not be aware of what they are doing, and politely bringing their behavior to their attention is encouraged.

We have a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind, including but not limited to:

  • Stalking/following
  • Deliberate intimidation
  • Harassing photography or recording
  • Sustained disruption of talks or other events
  • Offensive verbal language
  • Verbal language that reinforces social structures of domination
  • Sexual imagery and language in public spaces
  • Inappropriate physical contact
  • Unwelcome sexual or physical attention

In relation to, but not limited to:

  • Neurodiversity
  • Race
  • Color
  • National origin
  • Gender identity
  • Gender expression
  • Sexual orientation
  • Age
  • Body size
  • Disabilities
  • Appearance
  • Religion
  • Pregnancy

Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Our zero tolerance policy means that we will look into and review every allegation of violation of our policies that is brought to our attention and respond appropriately. We empower and encourage you to report any behavior that makes you or others feel uncomfortable by emailing mWISE.Conference@regsvc.com

We value your attendance. This policy extends to all mWISE events and content platforms. Conference organizers reserve the right to refuse admittance or revoke access to any Mandiant hosted event (including future mWISE events) at any time in its sole discretion. This includes, but is not limited to, attendees behaving in a disorderly manner or failing to comply with this policy, and the terms and conditions herein. If a participant engages in harassing or uncomfortable behavior, the conference organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning or expelling the offender from the event.



If one or more of the conditions outlined in these terms should become invalid, the remaining conditions will continue to be valid and apply.

The views expressed by any event attendee, speaker, exhibitor, or sponsor are not necessarily those of Mandiant. All attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, and/or advertising.
