What's Next? Looking Over the Security Horizon

This session focuses on the concrete actions needed to stay ahead of the curve. The panel will consider the far horizon (implications of the “Year 2038 problem”), the elephant in the room (IOT and Industrial Control System security), and of course ‘future’ technologies that appear to be not-so-future anymore such as quantum cryptography (in reality what does this change?), the impact of LLMs operating with vast datasets, tailored AI attacks, and the relationship between nation state nation activity and deglobalization.

Survive the Attack

View a real breach from the point of view of the CISO who experienced it. What were the early signs of compromise and what was the response? What systemic mistakes were made? What defense failed? From a business level, who was involved and how was communication managed with management, employees, the board and media?
